The program is to tell the history of some of the ships which served New Zealand both as Passenger ships ,cargo vessels, coastal traffic and even the support vessels that never received quite the glamour their larger counterparts did .
Each half hourly program will aim to tell us why they became so well loved and the credit of those who sailed and built these fine machines of the sea. We will also include some lovely and exciting soundtracks from films and TV about the sea.
